Japanese is an interesting and beautiful language, and it has special connections to my native language - Chinese. The primary goal for my learning of Japanese is to assist my study and research of Japanese art and culture. I love the byobu, maki-e, ukiyo-e etc. Moreover, I am also fond of Japanese food. I went to Japan for ten days this summer and found it is really a nice country. I especially love Kyoto, and I think it might be the best city in Asia or even in the world for art historians! I will try my best to learn Japanese language and art :D.
